- Katja Koelkebeck is Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Protestant Hospital of the Bethel Foundation, Germany.
- She is psychiatrist and psychotherapist and has long-standing expertise in clinical diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of mental disorders including schizophrenia, affective disorders and autism spectrum disorders (ASS).
- Her research expertise covers the fields of cognitive testing (specifically social interactive abilities), psychotherapeutic treatment and neuroimaging of neuropsychiatric disorders as well as cross-cultural psychology.
- She also hold a long-standing collaborations with the University of Kyoto, Japan, the University of Leiden, Netherlands and the University of Aarhus, Denmark.
